APPROVAL TO AWARD BID #11-0036 FOR SCTI HEALTH OCCUPATIONS HOSPITAL BEDS AND RELATED EQUIPMENT
Description
Bids to provide 'SCTI Health Occupations Hospital Beds and Related Equipment' were received from three vendors on December 2, 2010. The bids of Hill-Rom Company and Moore Medical, LLC, were the best low bids meeting the advertised specifications. Reasons for not selecting the apparent low bid are included on the bid tabulation. The funds for these purchases are contained in the capital budget allocated for the project.
Recommendation
That the bids of Hill-Rom Company and Moore Medical, LLC, to provide 'SCTI Health Occupations Hospital Beds and Related Equipment' in the amount of $171,617.50, be approved for award and purchase.
